Vita Items

  1. Name.
  2. Current address, including zip code, current telephone number.
  3. Optional - Personal data: Birthdate, birthplace, marital status, number of children.
  4. Citizenship, social security number.
  5. Academic training, undergrad and grad: institutions, degrees, major concentrations, dates of degrees, include expected date of Ph.D. completion.
  6. Teaching fields.
  7. Research interests.
  8. Dissertation experience: teaching and research experience, and any other relevant professional experience. Include positions held, inclusive dates of employment. A short abstract can also be included.
  9. Any special skills or experiences: foreign language competence, programming skills, residence abroad, or others.
  10. Honors, awards, and publications.
  11. Record of graduate study: a list of courses you've taken as a graduate student, including course titles, institutions, instructor, dates. You need not include grades here.
  12. References (including dissertation chairperson listed first, plus others).
